Silicon Door Heating Cable

Silicone door heating cable is an essential component of the refrigeration industry. It’s most common use is to remove or prevent condensation and icing in house hold electrical, doors of refrigeration and food storage systems. Also use in machines requiring protection against freezing or temperature maintenance.

Silicone door heating cable is manufactured by precisely winding a resistance wire around a core of high strength, heat resistant material. This material has been carefully selected for its low stretch qualities. The wound element is then insulated with extruded silicone rubber. A metallic sheath is provided to give additional mechanical strength and provide ground path.

To ensure that these heating elements enjoy a long service life, we recommend using a control device.

Silicone door heating cable is available in predetermined lengths with cold tail – prefabricated & tested in a carefully controlled factory environment.
